About This Event

We are proud to announce that our students, age eight through 19, have enrolled in the Conservatory’s Youth Théâtre’s class’s production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The play’s title was the students’ choice. The classic play, which is in the public domain, has been slightly abridged by Mr. Ron Dykes MA to ensure its compliance with our family friendly mission. It is still considered a full-length play, with all the characters.
ABOUT ROMEO & JULIET
Romeo and Juliet is William Shakespeare’s famous tragedy about two young lovers from feuding families, the Montagues and Capulets, in Verona, Italy; their passionate, forbidden love leads to secret marriage, banishment, and ultimately, their tragic suicides, which finally end their families’ ancient feud, making them the archetype for “star-crossed lovers”.
Seats are $25 for adults, $10 for children 13 and under with the purchase of an adult seat.
To reserve seating, go to https://www.liveoaktheatre.org/current-production , email [email protected] ,or call 352-593-0027.
