Shoot 2 Thrill brings their AC/DC tribute to Savannah Center Friday night -- 20+ years of high-voltage rock, authentic looks, and a setlist built to make noise. Saturday packs in comedy grad night in Inverness, Hitchcock on the big screen in Ocala, and the kids' version with Wreck-it-Ralph. All three days carry a real chance of afternoon storms, so build in some flex: Friday is the worst of the bunch with a 74% chance of showers and thunderstorms, highs around 90. Saturday drops to 56% and a high of 88 -- the most workable window of the weekend if you have outdoor plans. Sunday climbs back to 69% storm chances, so anything outside is a gamble.

Friday

Shoot 2 Thrill – AC/DC Tribute -- Savannah Center, Summer Package Available

Shoot 2 Thrill pays tribute to AC/DC with the kind of commitment that makes a difference -- authentic stage looks, the right guitar tones, and a collective 20+ years performing the catalog coast to coast. They've played USO tours overseas; they know how to hold a room. Summer packages are available through The Villages Entertainment if you want to bundle this with other shows in the season.

Joey & Jenny Duo at The Polo Pony -- World Equestrian Center, $20

A live duo set at the WEC's Polo Pony bar -- good option if you're already out that way and want music with your Friday night. The World Equestrian Center's entertainment calendar tends to draw a relaxed, sociable crowd, and $20 is a fair ask for a live performance in that setting.

Friday Flicks! -- Lady Lake Library, $5.00, 3:30 PM ET

This week's screening is How to Train Your Dragon (PG) -- a solid pick for families looking for an easy Friday afternoon out. Five bucks a seat at the library is about as low-stakes as it gets for a movie afternoon.

The Fire Rhythms Band -- Spanish Springs Town Square, Free, 5:00 PM ET

Caribbean heat, Brazilian percussion, funk, rock, and Top 40 -- The Fire Rhythms Band is the kind of act that turns the town square into a dance floor whether you planned to dance or not. Free admission on the square; grab dinner from one of the surrounding spots and stay for the set.

Sip & Shop Social -- Brooksville Main Street, 5:00 PM ET

Downtown Brooksville's monthly last-Friday event runs 5 to 8 PM -- local shops open late, and the vibe is casual browsing with a drink in hand. Good excuse to explore the downtown if you haven't been out that way recently.

Moulin Rouge -- Reilly Arts Center, 5:30 PM ET

Moulin Rouge opens at the Reilly Arts Center in Ocala tonight. The tagline says it all: no laws, no limits, one rule -- never fall in love. Check the Reilly's box office directly for seating availability before you head out.

Friday Night Live starring Bobby Randall and The OBO Band -- Orange Blossom Opry, Limited, 7:00 PM ET

Nashville recording artist Bobby Randall leads the OBO Band through a night of prime country and southern rock -- the kind of show the Opry does consistently well. Tickets are listed as limited, so don't sit on this one if you're interested. Bobby is joined by Doug Stock, Randy Nichols, Keith Horne, and Dave Jaquez for what's a full, well-rehearsed band lineup.

Saturday

Comedy Grad Night at the Valerie! -- Valerie Theatre, 7:00 PM ET

National touring headliner Carmen Vallone has been teaching comedy in Orlando for 15 years, and this is the showcase where his students take the stage. Graduation nights like this tend to be energetic and a little unpredictable in the best way -- you're watching people perform with something to prove. The Valerie Theatre in Inverness is a great room for it.

Wreck-it-Ralph -- Reilly Arts Center, 11:30 AM, 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM ET

Three showtimes Saturday for Wreck-it-Ralph at the Reilly Arts Center -- morning, afternoon, and evening, so it fits most schedules. A good indoor option if Saturday's 56% storm chances turn into something in the afternoon. The Reilly has it running alongside Rear Window on the same day, so it's a full film day at the center if you're inclined.

Rear Window -- Reilly Arts Center, 11:30 AM, 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM ET

Hitchcock's Rear Window on a proper screen is always worth it -- "in deadly danger because they saw too much" is a pretty good sales pitch on its own. Same three showtime slots as Wreck-it-Ralph running in parallel at the Reilly. Saturday evening at 7:30 PM is the move if you want the right atmosphere for a classic thriller.

Sunday

Backtrack Blues Band Live! -- Valerie Theatre -- Valerie Theatre, 7:00 PM ET

One of Florida's longest-running blues bands -- founded in 1980 and playing continuously for over 40 years. The Backtrack Blues Band brings the kind of high-energy set that comes from decades of knowing exactly what works. Sunday night at the Valerie in Inverness is a good call if you want to end the weekend with something that actually sounds like it means it.

Mount Dora Village Market -- Sunset Park, Free, 9:00 AM ET

Over 70 vendors along the lakeside at Sunset Park -- local produce, artisan foods, fresh flowers, and crafts. Free admission; what you spend is up to you. Get there earlier in the morning before the storm chances build -- Sunday carries a 69% shot at afternoon showers and you'd rather be heading out than setting up your umbrella.
